AHIA Institutional Award
The Institutional Award
The Institutional Award may be awarded periodically at the Annual Conference to organizations that have demonstrated continuing support of AHIA’s goals and objectives by providing advice, counsel, and operational assistance in furthering those goals and objectives.
Criteria: This award is given to those institutions (Universities, Hospitals, Health Systems, Vendors, Professional Services Firms, etc.) that have demonstrated continuing support of AHIA’s goals and objectives in furthering our mission and vision. The support could exist in many forms, such as providing facilities, staff, advice, counsel, operational assistance, or other resources. The Institution must have shown active support of AHIA for six or more consecutive years.
An institution may receive the award no more frequently than every five years. A two-thirds affirmative vote of Board members is needed to name a recipient. There may be a single, multiple, or no recipients of the award in any given year.
