At Large Board Members (voting and non-voting) – Each At Large Board Member will serve as a Board liaison to an active AHIA Committee as assigned by the Chair of the Board and will report Committee activities to the Board of Directors as a whole on a periodic basis. At Large Board Members are expected to attend approximately 6-8 full meetings of the Board of Directors each year.
Secretary/Treasurer – The Secretary/Treasurer works with AHIA’s association management company (Kellen) to (1) keep the minutes of the meetings of the Board of Directors (2) review AHIA’s monthly financial statements, (3) review AHIA’s annual financial statements, (4) review AHIA’s Form 990 prior to submission, (5) review the periodic Investments Portfolio statements provided by AHIA’s investment manager for compliance with AHIA’s Investment Policy, and (6) perform other duties as may be assigned by the Chair of the Board or by the Board of Directors. The Treasurer progresses through AHIA Executive Committee ranks as follows: Treasurer, Vice Chair, Chair, Past Chair; thus the 4-year term.
