Regional Seminars
AHIA Regional Seminars provide a forum for healthcare internal auditors to network and interact with their peers, to share internal audit best practices, and to strengthen the profession of healthcare internal auditing.

Education Objectives
These sessions are designed to be highly interactive to promote attendee participation and sharing of internal audit best practices. Attendees will learn about current healthcare internal audit topics, audit approaches and techniques and best practices.
Roundtables
AHIA roundtable discussion groups offer a unique and valuable opportunity for CAEs to discuss common concerns and challenges, to share lessons learned and to brainstorm with their peers on solutions and best practices. Audit Roundtables are for the senior-most leaders of organizations internal audit function and/or specialized members of the audit team. The roundtable format provides the opportunity to discuss common issues, share ideas and best practices and network with peers. The agenda and content is based upon the issues and topics submitted by the attendees in advance of the meeting. Roundtables are limited to 20 participants per session. To participate, you must be an AHIA member in good standing. All roundtables are by invitation only. Selected participants will receive a confirmation email. We provide two types of roundtables:
- CAE Roundtables – Internal Audit & Compliance function management and leadership
- IT Auditor Roundtables – Individuals performing IT audits, IT governance, and IT security or who have significant responsibility managing these types of areas

Continuing Professional Education Credits
Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors is a registered sponsor with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
