Application Process
Exam windows are open twice a year
Spring Cycle:
- Application Window: February – March
- Exam Window: April – May
Fall Cycle:
- Application Window: August – September
- Exam Window: October – November
How to Apply
- Carefully review the Eligibility Requirements in the Candidate Handbook.
- Have the required Forms completed and signed.
- Click the Apply Now button to pay the CHIAP application and exam fee.
- If you are a member, please sign into the AHIA Membership Portal to access the membership application fee price.
- After payment you will be contacted via email and provided with a link to complete your application. Note: Application access will not granted until payment is received in full.
- You will be notified via email after your application has been approved with instructions to schedule your online proctored examination.
