AHIA invites you to submit a presentation proposal for the 2026 Annual Conference being held virtually August 24-28, 2026. Your fellow healthcare internal audit professionals are eager to learn from your knowledge and expertise.
Presentations will be selected by AHIA’s Annual Conference Committee based on their merit and value of the educational content to attendees. Presenters will be notified no later than 2 months after the submission deadline if their session is selected or not selected for the annual conference.
Be sure to read the Presentation Submission Guidelines before submitting your presentation, as there are several pieces of information required. Presentations for the 45th Annual Conference must be submitted through the AHIA Annual Conference Submission Site.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE & NOTIFICATION
Presentation submissions must be received by Friday, February 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
SESSION TYPES
Conference presentation options include:
- 2 hour deep dive workshops (will be held pre or post main conference 8/24 or 8/28)
- 1 hour breakout session presentations (during main conference 8/25-8/27)
- 1 hour panel discussions (throughout conference, depending on topic)
Each session should include an informative presentation of the topic, practical applications and take-aways, and time for Q&A (recommended 5-10 minutes). Presentations should focus on internal audit or compliance subjects specific to healthcare.
PRESENTER BENEFITS
AHIA Members will receive one complimentary main conference registration for presenting one or more sessions.
Non-Members will receive a 50% discount on main conference registration for presenting one or more sessions.
Main conference registration does not include pre-/post-conference sessions or workshops. The speaker’s benefit is applicable only to the primary presenter.
