Welcome to the 2019 AHIA Annual Conference! The theme of this year’s conference is: Harmonizing the Complexities of Healthcare Internal Auditing. The Association of Healthcare Internal Auditor’s (AHIA) 38th Annual Conference offers a programmatic balance of foundational knowledge and topics that will help healthcare internal auditors prepare for the unprecedented changes evolving in the current environment of reform.
The conference offers seven educational tracks to choose from, so that you are able to capture the information most relevant to you. Over 90 sessions

. AHIA is the only professional, specialized association for healthcare internal auditors. Our attendees come from all size organizations including hospitals, physician group practices, academic medical centers and regional and national health systems and plans. As we know all too well, navigating your way through the healthcare industry in an era of convergence and reform and change can be daunting. If you are not paying attention, you could be left behind, or worse, left out!

AHIA moved to a new database, last fall, in an effort to better serve our members. What does this mean for you? If you have not logged into your AHIA account since last fall, your old AHIA member login and password will no longer work. Follow these steps to establish yourself in our network:
· Step One: Go to www.ahia.org and click on the "Login" link at the top of the page
· Step Two: Click the "Forgot your password?" link, as your previous AHIA member login details will no longer work.
· Step Three: Enter your User Name, which will be your email address we have on file for you, and click "Submit." An email will be sent to your inbox. Follow the instructions to create a password.
· Step Four: Once you are logged in, you may update your details and ensure your member profile is complete.

Continuing Professional Education Credits
AHIA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credits. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.NASBARegistry.org.
